Wednesday, January 1, 2020. New York City – Today was the 116th Annual Coney Island Polar Bear Club Plunge in Brooklyn, New York City. The Polar Bear Plunge was on the world famous Coney Island Beach. Hundreds of people attended the event.

The Coney Island Polar Bear Club, the organizers say on their website, “This year’s plunge raised funds for the Coney Island community to create a more sustainable and cleaner environment, programming for Coney Island youth as well as improve quality of life for residents.”
