This is the press release by VisualAIDS.org:

“We are very pleased to announce that Postcards from the Edge 2020 will be held:

January 3-5, 2020

at host gallery:

Bortolami
39 Walker Street, Tribeca
b/w Church St. and Broadway

Postmark Deadline for Artwork:
Monday, November 25, 2019
Visual AIDS invites you to participate in our 22nd Annual Postcards from the Edge benefit, hosted this year by Bortolami from January 3-5, 2020. Postcards from the Edge is a unique benefit show and sale of original, postcard-size artworks by established and emerging artists. All artwork is exhibited anonymously, and the identity of the artist is revealed ony after the work is purchased. Proceeds benefit Visual AIDS.

The impressive 22-year run of this event is a testament to its effectiveness as a fundraising tool – and to its engaging and unconventional premise – but it can’t happen without the creativity and support of artists like you.

For more than 30 years, we have never stopped using art as a tool to educate and advocate in the fight against HIV and AIDS. The history of AIDS activism and the losses of the ongoing AIDS crisis continue to resonate with multiple generations, highlighting the essential and far-reaching nature of our mission and work to support and preserve a legacy for HIV+ artists.

All of us at Visual AIDS realize how lucky we are to be surrounded by a community of caring and committed artists and activists. With this in mind, we want to express our gratitude to those who have participated in Postcards from the Edge in the past, and we hope you will participate again this year. We would also like to express a warm welcome to those who will participate for the first time this year.

To ensure that artists have enough time to create original work, we are sharing the guidelines for submission now so that you can get started.

GUIDELINES:

Create or attach an original artwork on any 4″ x 6″ heavy weight paper. Drawings, photographs, paintings, printmaking, and mixed media are welcome. We will only accept ONE ENTRY per artist. If you are in New York City and would like a blank postcard, please stop by our office to pick one up.

For complete guidelines, information on mailing artwork, and to download the submission form, please visit the Visual AIDS website.

Postcards from the Edge is one of our most important fundraisers of the year, and its success will allow us to produce important art activism projects in 2020. By participating, artists support our mission, enabling us to produce AIDS-focused contemporary art programs and provide supplies and assistance to artists living with HIV, many of whom are unable to continue producing work without such support.

THANK YOU – The support of artists makes this event a success each year. We couldn’t do it without you!”
